SCAN in the Community
SCAN has expanded our outreach into communities by implementing SCAN in the Community which brings socialization, recreation, education, and technology opportunities to various locations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The concept of SCAN in the Community was developed as a way to accommodate the many seniors who are unable to participate at the Monmouth Mall location for a variety of reasons including lack of transportation. Through our diverse program options and Speakers Bureau, SCAN is able to deliver high impact services to people in their own communities.
SCAN’s Speakers Bureau can provide speakers on a variety of topics of interest to seniors and caregivers. Our speakers have deep experience in the topics they address. Topics include:
